Chelsea look for another revenge on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park

The Blues are determined to revenge on Crystal Palace, who dented their Premier League title bid last season, a 1-0 defeat at Palace in late March, when John Terry's own goal make them take the lead, put a serious dent in Chelsea's title ambitions last season and had manager José Mourinho accusing some of his players of "disappearing" against certain small opponents

I think it won't happen again because of the improvements Mourinho has made to his squad during the close season and the obvious hunger of his side to reclaim the league trophy after an absence of four seasons.

Chelsea have learned the lessons of last term when defeats to Premier League’s strugglers Villa, Stoke, Crystal Palace and Sunderland, cost them dearly. They finished four points behind champions Manchester City.

‘It was one of those games where we lost and deserved to lose,’ said Mourinho. ‘I know why we lost so there was no lesson to be learnt, I accepted it in a normal way and it’s easy for me to analyse those kind of matches.

‘We lost there last season because they were better than us in every aspect of the game

Of course, both teams Chelsea and Crsytal Palace have changed quite significantly since that springtime upset, whether on or off the field. A win for Palace this weekend will therefore be considered even less likely than it was when Chelsea were swatting aside every team in front of them back in March. The form of Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Thibaut Courtois alone is enough to make Palace's chances of a sixth win in 35 league meetings between the two teams seem remote.

Crystal palace will host Chelsea at Selhurst Park tomorrow, so guys let's extend the lead.
